ClickUp is where your team organizes work. FeatureOS is where your customers tell you what to build. The ClickUp + FeatureOS integration connects the two with full two-way sync, so customer requests become tasks and task updates flow back to customers.

How to Connect ClickUp to FeatureOS

  1. In FeatureOS, navigate to Dashboard > Organization Settings > Integrations > ClickUp > Connect.
  2. Sign into ClickUp, pick your Workspace, and click Connect Workspace.
  3. Back in FeatureOS, configure your sync preferences.

Automatic Push to ClickUp

When a FeatureOS post hits a certain status, it can be sent to ClickUp automatically. You pick the Workspace, Space, Folder, and List where tasks land. Posts can be pushed right after submission or after moderation approval.

Status Sync Rules

Three modes, same as you would expect:

  • When any linked ClickUp task changes status, the FeatureOS post updates.
  • When all linked tasks change status, the post updates. Useful for requests that require multiple tasks to complete.
  • When a FeatureOS post changes status, linked ClickUp tasks update too.

Custom Field Mapping

This is where ClickUp's integration goes further than most. Map FeatureOS data like upvotes, comments, board name, or submitter details into ClickUp custom fields. You can map up to 7 fields, and dropdown mapping works for board names as long as values match exactly.

Using FeatureOS with ClickUp Day to Day

Create a task from feedback: Push a FeatureOS post to ClickUp (one task per post). Customize the title, description, and target Workspace/Folder/List.

Link multiple tasks: Attach several ClickUp tasks to a single FeatureOS post by searching with task IDs. Useful when one feature request touches multiple areas.

Stay in sync: Status changes propagate based on your configured rules. Customers can receive automatic notifications when their requested feature moves through development.

Disconnect or unlink: Unlink individual tasks anytime, or disconnect the full integration from Organization Settings.

What ClickUp + FeatureOS Does for Product Teams

Product managers keep customer feedback centralized while tasks stay organized in ClickUp. Developers work from ClickUp with links back to the original request and its vote count. Customers get notified as their feedback moves through the pipeline.
